Question. I can not receive the register confirmation email.
Answer.
Please check whether the registration confirmation email was put into your spam folder.
If you may have registered with the incorrect email address, please register again. There is also the possibility that your email service settings may have prevented the email from being received; please check your email service settings. If you do not know how to do so, please check the help of your email software or service, or contact your provider or server administrator.

Question. What is the language of the emails I will receive?
Answer.
Emails are delivered in the language of the registration form, which is one of Japanese, plain Japanese, or English. If you register using the Japanese registration form, emails will be delivered in Japanese; if you register using the English registration form, emails will be delivered in English.

Question. I want to register in both Japanese and English.
Answer.
Only one email address can be registered per language. If you want to register in multiple languages, please use a different email address for each language.

Question. I want to change my registered information.
Answer.
Please access "the Information Change Form" URL provided in the registration confirmation email. A form to change your registered information will appear.
If " Information Change Form " URL has expired, you can access " URL Re-Issue Form " URL provided in a delivered email and enter your registered email address in order to receive an email that explains how to change the registered information and other procedures.

Question. Can I change the language of the emails I receive?
Answer.
Yes, you can.
To change the language of the emails you receive, please use one of the following methods.

(1) Use the same email address, cancel your registration and then register again in your desired language. (2) Use a different email address (other than your currently registered email address) and register in your desired language using the different email address.

Question. I want to cancel my registration.
Answer.
Please access the " Registration Cancellation Form " URL provided in the registration confirmation email. A form to cancel your registration appears.
If the " Registration Cancellation Form " URL has expired, you can access the " URL Re-Issue Form " URL provided in a delivered email and enter your registered email address.

Question. I cannot use "Information Change Form" (or "Registration Cancellation Form") form. Or, I have forgotten those URL.
Answer.
Please reissue the URL for "Information Change Form" (or "Registration Cancellation Form "). Access the " URL Re-Issue Form" URL and enter your registered email address.

Question. I received an email from the Immigration Service Agency even though I did not register.
Answer.
If you receive a registration confirmation email for this service even though you have not registered, please delete that email because someone else may have registered with the incorrect email address. If you continue to receive registration confirmation emails, please consult the General Affairs Division of the Immigration Services Agency of Japan.
Also, if you receive a news email from us even though you have not registered up, please delete that email without opening it as it may be a spoofed email that fraudulently appears to be sent from us. If you receive many such emails, please contact the General Affairs Division of the Immigration Services Agency of Japan.

Question. An email I received has an attachment. I received an unusual email.
Answer.
We don’t send any email with attachments. Please delete such emails without opening them because they may be a spoofed email that fraudulently appears to be sent from us. If you receive many such emails, please contact the General Affairs Division of the Immigration Services Agency of Japan.

Question. I have not received any emails.
Answer.
We deliver news whenever there is an update to your registered delivery category. As such, news may be delivered infrequently depending on the delivery category.
If you have changed your email address, news may be delivered to your old email address. Please update your email address using the "Change Registered Information" form, or register again using your new email address.
There is also the possibility that your email service settings may have prevented the email from being received; please check your email service settings. If you do not know how to do so, please check the help of your email software or service, or contact your provider or server administrator.

Question. I still receive emails even though I have canceled registration.
Answer.
The emails may be being forwarded from another registered email address. Please disable the forwarding setting for the forwarding email address.
