Key policies

In accordance with Table 2-2 (2) of the Immigration Services Agency Administrative Policy (as per the instructions issued by the Immigration Services Agency Commissioner in the 2019 Immigration Services General Training Order Ver. 1), "in addition to the regular review and publication of immigration policies, the executive supervisor of document management should see that any and all documents related to said policies, including those marked as 'Disposed' in Table 1-1, are transferred appropriately."

The key policies, as determined by the executive supervisor of document management, are as follows:

FY 2019-20 (Reiwa 1)

Formulation of the Basic Plan for Immigration Control and Residency Management

FY 2020-21 (Reiwa 2)

Partial Revision of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act and the Special Act on the Immigration Control of, inter alia, those who have lost Japanese Nationality pursuant to the Treaty of Peace with Japan
