The Immigration Services Agency's e-Notification System

This system allows either mid to long-term residents (as defined by Article 19-17 of the Act) or a member of their affiliated organization, Japanese language institution, or registered support organization to submit various notifications online.
* Only standard reports from accredited Japanese language institutions are accepted.

Regarding User Registration

Mid to long-term residents can register an account to access the e-Notification System.
A member of their affiliated organization, registered support organization, or Japanese language institution (as defined by Article 19-17 of the Act) may also apply for user registration in-person or by mail through a Regional Immigration Services Bureau.

Eligible Individuals

Those submitting notifications of changes in activity, contract, or marital status (as per Article 19-16 of the Act) and/or notifications from affiliated organizations (as per Article 19-17 of the Act).

To set a password for an Excel file, please refer to the following procedure, instead of encrypting a ZIP file.

Steps

  1. File > Save As > Browse
  2. Tools > General Options > Insert a password in the “Password to open” field and click OK
  3. Click “Save”

To change an Excel file into a different type of file, please refer to the following procedure.

Steps

  1. File > Save As > Browse
  2. Select your preferred file type from the “Save as type” dropdown menu (*.xlsx, etc.)
  3. Click “Save”

* The exact process may vary depending on which version of Excel is used. For more details, please refer to an operational manual specific to the version you have installed.
Note: For notifications regarding registered support organizations and/or affiliated organizations for Specified Skilled Workers, as well as standard reports for Japanese language institutions, please see the link below.

Eligible Individuals

Affiliated organizations and/or registered support organizations who have accepted foreign residents whose status of residence is that of "Specified Skilled Worker."
