History and background

The number of application procedures that can be carried out online will continue to be increased to improve the services offered by the Immigration Services Agency." As planned, a number of online applications were made available on July 25, 2019 (including applications for extension of period of stay), and the subsequent expansion of the online system was discussed.
To that end, the revision to the Regulation for Enforcement of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act was announced today, expanding the range of eligible statuses of residence.
